Unwind With Sienna’s Rose Soy Wax Scented Candles

AD | Introducing Sienna’s Rose scented candles. Natural hand poured soy wax candles, infused with essential and fragrance oils. If you have been following Sistabliss Tribe for some time, you will know I’m pretty obsessed with soy wax scented candles. So I was very excited to discover Sienna’s Rose range with the most incredible scents, ethically sourced ingredients and contemporary design.

Right now we are all spending more time inside our homes than ever before, often sharing one space for work and home life. It’s important to do what we can to relax, unwind, and switch off. Scented candles are my absolute go to for transforming my environment after a day of home working. There’s nothing better than turning down the lights and enjoying the soft glow of the flame, feeling your mind switch off at the first scent of that familiar aroma, or drifting off to sleep to the crackle of the burn.

Sienna’s Rose

Sienna’s Rose is a London based hair and beauty brand with a passion for promoting wellbeing. During the last year as restrictions have rendered the salon closed, owner Nikki, along with two family members have channeled their passion for holistic wellbeing by developing a range of natural, vegan soy wax scented candles infused with essential and fragrance oils.

Sienna’s Rose ambition is to make luxury products whilst having a low impact on the environment. All ingredients are ethically sourced and the packaging is completely plastic free. Every candle arrives in a neat cardboard casing to protect the recycled glass, achieving an environmentally friendly product without compromising on quality. Even better, £1 is donated from every purchase to plant trees, offsetting carbon emissions.

Scents dreams are made of

Sienna’s Rose currently has seven scents in the range to choose from to suit different moods and times of year. The luxury quality of the candles is clear from the intense aromas released from the moment you open the packaging and throughout the burn. Choose from:

  • Cologne – Bergamont, Leather, Oakwood and Tobacco.
  • Joy – Amber, Jasmine and Rose.
  • Noir – Black Pepper, Lemon and Vertivert.
  • Romance – Amber, Jasmine, Rose and a perfume scent mix.
  • Sanctuary – Neroli, Orange, Patchouli and Ylang Ylang.
  • Spirit – Neroli.
  • Winter – Cinnamon, Clove and Orange.

Each 300ml candle burns for approximately 50 hours, and promises to fill the room with invigorating scents until the final flicker. Check out the range for yourself on the Sienna’s Rose website.

Wellbeing benefits

I love to burn my Sanctuary scented candle during my wind down time before bed or during yoga practice. The smell of the candle itself is absolutely addictive, providing a deep bold hit of the essential oils as I light the candle. As it burns, the room slowly fills with the relaxing notes which help me unwind from the busyness of the day, and the scent permeates throughout the whole house – positively dreamy!

The essential oils are hand chosen for their healing properties. For example, the Sanctuary candle contains a combination of Neroli, Orange, Patchouli and Ylang Ylang essential oils which together help to relieve stress, anxiety and depression. The perfect partner for a meditation, pilates or yoga session.

Why is soy wax best?

I only ever buy soy or bees wax candles, as they have a cleaner burn. Paraffin wax is widely used in mass produced candles, however the omissions can cause headaches – not conducive with improved wellbeing and mood! Soy wax, a vegan option, also burns slower, so your candle will last longer and doesn’t give off as much black soot. I’ve ruined many white walls and Venetian blinds with paraffin wax candles.

From my own experience making candles at home, I’ve learned soy wax is much harder to work with. Sienna’s Rose candles are expertly made and delicately hand poured. A process clearly perfected over time to produce a virtually flawless end result. Honestly, I have serious candle envy and could only dream of making something this beautiful at home myself.

The perfect gift

Nothing beats a personal and thoughtful gift. Especially a gift that supports a small business and the environment. With seven combinations of essential oils to choose from, you can select a scent with a loved one in mind, perfectly suited to their current needs. Friends getting married? The romance candle is a beautiful engagement or wedding gift, with scents which will forever remind them of this special time. Is someone you care about stressed at work? Show them how much you care with a Sanctuary candle. The Winter candle couldn’t be more perfect for Christmas. With the sweet aromas of cinnamon, orange and clove reminiscent of traditional German Christmas markets.

Where to buy Sienna’s Rose scented candles

Visit the Sienna’s Rose website to peruse the selection of scents and buy for yourself or a gift. Candles are priced at £15, incredible value for such a quality product, from an environmentally and ethically conscious small business. And did you know, when you buy from a small business, a real person does a happy dance?

Sienna’s Rose is very kindly offering Sistabliss Tribe readers a 15% discount on their website. Just use code Sistabliss15 at checkout to get your discount and let your journey to relaxation begin!
